Above is the finished shell. Needs a bit of smoothing and flattening off but it is not far away from the finished model. Need to add bolts and a few minor details which should not take more than 1 hour. Then it's on to the texturing and lighting in vray.

Iron Man Helmet - Time taken = 6 Hours
Figured as I am in an "Avengers mood" this week I would have a try at modelling the Iron Man helmet. This is what I have after an hour. Need to do a bit of planning ahead so that all the sides match up. I started with one plane and extruded / detached edges to continue it.
